Joseph sold by his brothers, together with two of them, Rueben and Judah, and two Midianite traders (17th-cent. B.C.).
The fact of Jesus' being betrayed by the Apostle Judas and thus sold for thirty pieces of silver finds a parallel in the Old Testament episode of Jacob's 17-year-old son who was sold by his brothers for twenty shekels of silver
(Genesis 37:1-36).

King David had a very influential counsellor, Ahithophel (10th cent. B.C.). Ahithophel turned traitor when Absalom conspired against David, his own father, and he was called in to advise Absalom. But when the counsel of another man (hushai) prevailed, Ahithophel recognised the necessary failure of his enterprise, withdrew, and hanged himself - as Judas Iscariot did (2 Samuel 15:12-17:232).

"Et osculatus est eum". That is: "And he kissed Him". (Mark 14:45).
