YOU CAN HELP TOO. YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP US TO PAY VETERINARY BILLS AND
MEDICINES TO HELP SICK AND INJURED ANIMALS.
"Not to hurt our humble brethren (the animals) is our first duty to them,
but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission: to be of service
to them whenever they require it. If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."
-St. Francis of Assisi-
Dear Animal Lover,
I would like to introduce you to an animal welfare fund set up by a group of animal welfare societies in Malta which are involved in both education and action in the animal welfare field in the Maltese islands. SOS Animals has been set up primarily for helping as much as possible the most helpless of all, that is, sick , injured and abandoned animals.
I am sure you will appreciate that in Malta there are several individuals who sincerely do all they can do to ameliorate the living conditions of defenseless animals, even though this takes a lot of sacrifice , both financially and physically. Perhaps you are one of these persons. It is precisely for this reason that this fund has been set up; to help the individuals or groups who are willing to aid animals in need, but themselves need all the help they can get to reach their aims. But for this to be possible, depends on the generosity of whoever can afford to give a donation towards the fund. We would like to assure you that no administration costs are taken from the fund since this fund is run on a voluntary basis. All money that is donated will go directly for the animals, mainly the poorest of the poor - that is, the strays who have nothing.
Also, if you can afford some time for volunteer work at the Sanctuaries/Administration please do not hesitate to contact us - by mail - at the above address.
I sincerely thank you in advance for any action you might take on this letter. One way which you may help and which will cost nothing is by spreading the word. So please forward these information leaflets to your friends and establishments in your locality.
Thank you once again for your kind attention.
Working for the Animals,

Thanks to ths SOS Animals' Fund, K-9 Carts (dog wheelchairs), will help dogs like Tina, to walk again.

Jill was found in a field in Sta. Lucia, Malta.
The dog was hit by a car. She crawled into a field but could not go far as she
was very badly injured. She was rescued after three or four weeks with no food
and no water. She fully recovered and lived quite happily for many years.
