Famiglia di Velletri , Oriunda dal Veneto. Presero nome da un Santucci, Conte di Oneta,nel principio del XIV secolo. Giulio Santucci, insegne' architetto esegui' la nuova Chiesa di San Domenico in Ferrara e' continuo I lavori della Cattedrale 1693.
Un Paolo Santucci ebbe a fratello Cesare, da cui nacque Niccolo, Ambasciatore della Republica Lucchese, all' Imperatore , al Re di Napoli ed al Duca di Parma 1760. Appartennero a questa illustre famiglia Il Cardinale Vincenzo Santucci (estinto nel 1861) e Monsignor Luigi Santucci Commendatore di Santo Spirito (morto nel 1884). Questa Famiglia venne insiguita dal titolo comitocle Papa Leone XII nel 1885e fu escritta al Siatriziato di Ascoli e di Velletri. Da Carlo Santucci , cameriere segreto del Papa Pio VII, nacque Luigi della Consulta di Roma e Carlo Conte e Avvocato insigne.

That is as far as I could find in Italy. On a visit to Corsica some ten years ago, discovered quite a few Santuccis there but did not have the time to make any contacts. In Malta There was one particular Santucci who made the organ of the Basilica of St George in Gozo pre 1800. From my side My forefathers apparently fled Italy from Vencice because of the french troops and arriveed at Malta on board a British frigate. Eventually settling here.
