The VENTURA family line in Malta dates to the late eighteenth
century when a surgeon Angelo VENTURA was recorded to be
practising in Valletta, caring also for GrandMaster
de Rohan in 1794.
He was subsequently employed in 1798 and in 1805
in the Man's Hospital at Valletta .
The earliest traced direct descendant to Angelica VENTURA
who married Michael SAVONA in 1954 was Francesco VENTURA
who lived in the early nineteenth century.

- Frank Joseph Ventura - ( b.Mosta 13/05/1943. Education: Lyceum, St.
Michael's Training College, Royal University of Malta (B.Sc. 1969,
Dip.Sc. Ed. 1977), University of Reading, UK (M.Phil. 1985). 1960 joined
government Education Department serving in various capacities, 1978
appointed lecturer University of Malta, eventually Associate Professor
1996. Published several papers in his professional field, and in
archaeological calanderic observations. Married to Mirian nee Borg.)
- Angelo Ventura - (Surgeon circa 1794-1805. Reported to have attended sick
knights in 1794, attending Grandmaster de Rohan. Also reported working
as Senior Surgeon on 1st September 1798 at the Military Hospital under
the French reciving an annual salary of 480 scudi; and in 1805 at the
